FOSC-X enables extraction of the top-M globally optimal flat clusterings from hierarchical cluster trees via local, non-horizontal cuts. It supports cluster-count constraints and guarantees optimal rankings with linear-time complexity, both with and without constraints, while revealing alternative clustering structures missed by single-solution methods.
