This site publishes multilingual machine-learning news. This policy explains what we collect when you visit and how we use it. We collect only what we need to measure traffic and improve the site — no advertising, no data sales, no cross-site tracking.

What we collect

• Pages you view, your language, and the external site that referred you.
• A salted, one-way hash of your IP address — the original IP is never stored and cannot be recovered.
• Your browser, operating system and device type, read from your browser's user-agent.
• Only if you consent: random session and visitor IDs (cookies) to count unique people and sessions, and an approximate country/region from your IP (resolved before the IP is hashed).
• Only if you consent: time on page and scroll depth, kept in aggregate.

Cookies and consent

We set analytics cookies only after you accept them in the banner. If you decline or ignore it, we keep only the anonymous hashed-IP log — no identifying cookies and no location lookup. A small preference cookie remembers your choice. We never use cookies for advertising.

How we use it

Only in aggregate — to see which content is read, where visitors come from, and how the site performs, so we can improve it. We do not sell or share your data with third parties for their own purposes and do not build advertising profiles.

How long we keep it

Analytics records are deleted automatically after 90 days. Rotating our secret key permanently severs the link between stored rows and any IP.

Your choices

You can accept or decline analytics cookies at any time from the consent banner; declining keeps your visit anonymous. You can also clear or block cookies in your browser. Because stored data is anonymized, we cannot tie it back to you individually.
