- Prior to Carnegie, he directed Stanford's Freeman Spogli Institute for International Studies and the Stanford Cyber Initiative.
- Cuéllar has served on the President's Intelligence Advisory Board and the US Department of State's Foreign Affairs Policy Board.
- He is currently the Cameron Schrier Family Professor at Stanford Law School and a Senior Fellow at Stanford’s Institute for Human-Centered Artificial Intelligence.
Cuéllar will help steer Anthropic's engagement with heads of state and policy leaders to ensure AI's trajectory is shaped by democratic societies and its benefits reach people broadly.
