An independent researcher is requesting an endorsement from established authors in the cryptography and security community to submit a paper titled "KavachBench: An Empirical Evaluation of Deterministic Policy Enforcement Against Issue-Based Prompt Injection in AI Coding Agents" to arXiv.
The study evaluates Kavach, a Rust-based deterministic policy-enforcement runtime for AI coding agents, against prompt-injection attacks from IssueTrojanBench. The evaluation found that out-of-box policies blocked 88% of malicious actions, and refined coverage reached 100%, though the authors note this is corpus-specific rather than a claim of generalization.
The researcher has provided a GitHub repository for KavachBench and an arXiv endorsement code to facilitate the submission process.
