The second edition of the TalentCLEF challenge, organized as a Lab at CLEF 2026, focused on advancing Natural Language Processing research in Human Capital Management. The initiative attracted 113 registered teams that submitted over 400 entries across two distinct tasks.
Task A addressed contextualized job-person matching by identifying and ranking suitable candidates for English and Spanish job vacancies. Task B focused on job-skill matching with skill type classification, retrieving relevant skills for a given job title and distinguishing between core and contextual skills.
The challenge highlights the growing interest of the research community in shared evaluation benchmarks for Human Capital Management.
